Sopra Archi at Casenuove La Torre

Sopra Archi is a lovely first floor villa, it nieghbours Torre. There is a furnished terrace outside at the bottom of the stairs that lead up to the front door.
On entering to the right there is a long thin kitchen fully equipped
and furnished with gas hobs, oven and fridge with freezer. Off this
room there is the lounge with 2 double sofas and an armchair. To one
side of the room is a table with chairs for 6 people. The views from
the windows are over the beautiful Tuscan hills that surround the
property.
Passing under an arch from the lounge there is a small hall which
provides access to the bathroom with shower and bedrooms. The first
room is a double bedroom that cannot be made into a twin. It has
pretty views and is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, an armchair
. There are no mosquito screens but there are nets over the bed.
The next bedroom is also a double that cannot be made into a twin.
This room also has a wardrobe with internal drawers and an armchair.
Over the bed is a mosquito net. The third bedroom is a twin room. It is a small room with a built in wardrobe with internal drawers.
Only small dogs allowed.

Sopra Archi at Casenuove La Torre

Casenuove La Torre is a lovely family run farm in the heart of the Chianti between two important Chianti towns, Panzano and Greve in Chianti. The property consists of a main building, a little cottage and a small villa near the farm buildings, for a total of 7 villas.
The communal gardens are slope away from the main building. To one side is the pool at a lower level than the villas. It's surrounded by a lovely paved sun deck furnished with sun-beds and umbrellas. Around this there is a pretty olive grove and beyond fantastic views of the rolling Chianti hills.
Surrounding all the villas there are the vineyards and olive groves of the farm. From all sides of the garden there are splendid, wide open, panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside with its rolling Chianti hills covered with vineyard, forests, olive groves and dotted with small stone towns and villas.
At Casenuove La Torre there is a small reception where guests can obtain assistance during the day.

Pool Info
The pool is located at a lower level than the buildings of Casenuove La Torre. It's nestled in the well maintained gardens that surround the villas, and has fantastic views of the countryside.
Encircling the pool is a paved deck dotted with sun-beds and umbrellas to enjoy the warm Tuscan sun.
The swimming pool is 12x6 metres and 1-1.5metres deep. It is open from May to September.
Nearest town
The nearest town is Panzano. This is one of the 5 main Chianti towns
and has a selection of shops and restaurants. It also have amenities
such as bank, post office and pharmacy.

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
