La Piaggia is a typical Tuscan farmhouse, 4km from the motorway, set in the splendid Tuscan countryside between Lucca and Pistoia. The villa is an ideal location for a relaxing tranquil break surrounded by nature but at the same time offers a vast choice of cultural and artistic attractions in the nearby towns of Lucca, Florence, Pistoia, Collodi and the wonderfully spectacular renaissance villas of the Lucca countryside.

The villa is set in a large garden surrounded by pine trees and olive groves providing a lovely relaxing atmosphere. In the garden there is a beautiful oval-shaped swimming pool and a barbeque. It is also possible to enjoy the wonderful view of the Nievole Valley by taking a walk or bike ride through the cool woods nearby.

Everything about this Lucca holiday farmhouse has been organised to cater for all needs. The ground floor consists of the kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen has an open working fireplace, is fully fitted with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, gas hobs and microwave.

The spacious and airy living room has a TV and video and a computer linked to Internet. Also on this floor there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.

On the first floor there are three double bedrooms. All the rooms are lovely and spacious. One of the bedrooms has an anti bedroom area which has a sofa bed. On this floor there are 3 bathrooms, one is en-suite and the other two are accessed from the hall. Two of the bathrooms have showers and the third has a bathtub with hydro massage and hand held shower.

Outside the villa there is a large covered terrace that is furnished with table and chairs to enjoy meals al fresco.

La Piaggia is an ideal house for a relaxing holiday near all the sites of Tuscany.

Don't forget to visit the Pinocchio park in Collodi and the Leonardo da Vinci museum in Vinci.
