Villa Santarello is located at the end of a short drive, next to a country road. It is surrounded by a well kept garden, with mature shrubs and trees. This is enclosed by an established hedge but has no fence. There is a vegetable garden and the owners have planted fruit trees, both of which you pass in order to reach the front door.

The swimming pool is located at the rear of the property and has a paved area surrounding it with loungers and sun umbrellas. Relaxing here you have wonderful views across the countryside and olive groves with the hillside beyond as a backdrop. Please note due to nearby road children must be supervised in gardens.

Outside in the gardens there is a table with chairs and a parasol perfect to dine 'al fresco' during the Tuscan evenings. Alternatively there is the restaurant San Donato in Perano within walking distance.

The entrance opens into a spacious lounge with beamed ceilings and tiled floors. There is a large sofa, chairs, satellite tv and an open fireplace. At one end of the room there is an archway through which there is a dining table and chairs.

Another archway leads through to the main bedroom with double bed, beamed ceiling and parquet flooring.

The second bedroom with twin beds is also situated off the lounge, and is next door to the bathroom with shower. The twin room can be made into a double on request when booking. If you do not request this it will be as described.

Attractive wooden stairs lead up to the first floor directly into the kitchen/diner, which has tiled flooring. The fully fitted kitchen has a built in cooker with hobs and a fridge freezer.

There is a dining table with chairs a sofa and a second open fireplace.

There is a utility room with washing machine, a third bedroom with a double bed, which would be ideally suited for children because the sloping ceiling means there is restricted headroom.

The very good restaurant/wine bar San Donato in Perano is only within 700 metres from the villa, just a few minutes walk away.

The owners live in the attached villa behind villa Santarello and are on hand to answer any queries or recommend local restaurants and places to visit. They will use the pool occasionally during the week and sometimes during the week end.
